The table arrived tonight. The delivery guys understandably weren't keen on scratching their truck on the trees on my drive, so I met them in town with a ute and trailer, and carried the table, chairs and them, to the house to do the delivery.

They are great guys. Hang onto them.

The table fits the space perfectly. It's everything I hoped for and more. The whole experience of selecting, ordering and receiving the table and chairs has been totally straightforward and painless, with the end result of a dining setting that our guests will remark upon for decades. We've now had our table for a few weeks, and have to say that we are delighted with it. It has been put straight to work, as we've already had a number of occasions with a good number seated at it, and we couldn't be more pleased. We're happy with the pedestals and feet, and I think that it was worth the wait. The bench seats are great, and the leather colour and finish is perfect.
